What’s in a Name Change

In 2006 I founded WEATHERS LLC. In that time, the office produced more than twenty five projects ranging from speculative research projects, competition entries and installations. During that time I was the co-editor and editor of two books that sought to define the scope of this research. Most recently I wrote the book ‘The Air from Other Planets, A Brief History of Architecture to Come’ (Lars Muller) which included many of the office’s design projects. Though the research directive continues with new writings and design, the book marked the end of the use of the name WEATHERS for the work.

There comes a time when a body of work simply has to move into the archives so that new work can emerge.

(beyond that, not much else has changed)
